about

8-Bit Psychedelic Dance-Punk

Once upon a time, in the 1980s a dance aerobics instructor accidentally took a lot of ecstasy and jumped into a time-machine to go back to the Stone Age where she joined a drum circle and gathered dark secrets from ancient aliens. She then immediately jumped back in and time-travelled to the distant future circa 2080 where she lived the rest of her life spinning records at a futuristic disco for all to enjoy.

This is yet another song that is both vintage and futuristic all at once. It is a spiritual B-Side from the same studio session that brought you Ty Richards' sophomore album "Welcome to Flat Earth". This recording is his take of a song by a band who was nothing short of "gospel" to the Indie-Rock scene at the turn of the millennium.

No computers were harmed in the making of this track. But a tape machine was severely beaten and abused. This 100% analog recording was recorded directly to quarter-inch 8-track tape and mixed live directly from a Tascam 388.

This track was written by Radiohead and re-recorded, performed, produced, and mixed by Ty Richards.

lyrics

Everything
Everything
Everything
Everything
Is in its right place
Is in its right place
Is in its right place
Is in its right place

Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon
Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon
Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon
Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon

Everything
Everything
Everything
Is in its right place
Is in its right place
Is in its right place
Is in its right place

There are two colours in my head
There are two colours in my head
What, what was that you tried to say?
What, what was that you tried to say?
Tried to say, tried to say
Tried to say, tried to say

Everything
Everything
Everything
Everything
